For over two decades, Chinatown Adelaide of South Australia Inc. has been at the forefront of promoting the rich culture, traditions, language and heritage of our state’s diverse Chinese communities.
The association is instrumental in bringing our famous Chinatown precinct alive for traders, residents and visitors alike.

CHINATOWN ADELAIDE DRAGON DANCE GROUP
The CHINATOWN ADELAIDE DRAGON DANCE GROUP is a sub committee of Chinatown Adelaide of South Australia Inc., dedicated to promoting Chinese cultural traditions and community engagement through dynamic dragon dance performances.
As a vibrant and energetic performance team, the group showcases traditional Chinese dragon dancing at major public celebrations and multicultural events across South Australia, including the annual Lunar New Year Street Party in Adelaide’s Chinatown precinct, the Australia Day Parade, the annual Christmas Pageant, and the OzAsia Festival Parade. Through its high energy performances, the group aims to share the spirit of Chinese culture while symbolising good luck, prosperity, strength, and positive energy for the community.
